If you wish, please make a new thread about this and it can be completely discussed and in depth too. If you want to learn firewalls and networking, it is relatively easy and no where near as difficult as people believe it is. The eset and torrent client and VLC can be safely removed from the rules. I have a few programs listed in the rule set that you probably do not use, but these are easily removed by deletion. If you do not change the DNS server IP's, then you find you have no internet connections, so this is important. I use google DNS servers and I am guessing you are different DNS servers in your setup so this has to be changed in the new rule set after importing the rules. To find your own DNS servers use this command: "ipconfig /all" (without the quotes). It is versatile enough for you to "almost" use it the way it is with just one change to the DNS rules - that is change the listed IP's for the DNS servers rule to your own DNS server IP's. I also uninstalled Windows 7 Firewall Control because I really did not know how to use it to correctly tweak Windows 7 Firewall.
